About The Portland Expo Center

The Portland Expo Center is one of the Northwest’s Premier multi-purpose facilities, and home to some of the region’s largest and most successful consumer-public shows, tradeshows and special events. The 60–acre campus includes five interconnected Exhibit halls comprising of 330,000 square feet of exhibit space, 11 meeting rooms, a full–service catering kitchen, and parking for more than 2,200 vehicles.

Hosting over 100 events annually that attract more than 500,000 attendees, the Expo Center is located in North Portland, just off the I-5 as well as via TriMet’s Interstate Max Yellow Line. The Expo is easily accessible from the airport, S.W. Washington, and all of Oregon.

Owned by Metro regional government, and managed by the Metropolitan Exposition-Recreation Commission (MERC), the Expo continues to operate in a self sufficient manner, using zero tax dollars in supplying their clients and patrons with a world-class facility.

The Expo Center provides professional, friendly and knowledgeable staff to make your event an all-around success. With our flat floor (no stairs) load-in and loadout capability, the whole event immediately becomes less stressful. With eleven varied meeting rooms, the Expo provides up to 7,500 square feet of flexible space. Located just off the show floor within a spacious lobby, breakout rooms are easily accessible to patrons and offer a variety of configurations. Climate controls, audiovisual and lighting adjustments are available in each space.

The Expo Center has more 2,200 on-site parking spaces, so parking isn’t just an afterthought. Now with the addition of TriMet Light Rail service, frequent train service runs direct to downtown every 15 minutes. We are conveniently located between Portland and Vancouver, just off the Interstate Five and within minutes to a number of hotels, restaurants and shopping. The Expo Center will be able to make your event – large or small, indoors or out – a seamless success!
