About Association of Catering & Event Professionals (A.C.E.P.)
For those of you working in the catering and special events industry, this is the association for you. And if you’re planning an event, we can help with that too!
Our Mission Statement
• To identify and give status to the catering and event planning industry as a whole and to represent its desires and best interests to the community at large.
• To promote the exchange of common ideas and solutions.
• To develop a cordial relationship among its members.
• To present the members programs of educational value relating to the catering, event industry and allied businesses.
Member Benefits
Monthly Industry Event with Networking and Educational Opportunities and of course Referrals. There are ten meetings per year with no meeting in August or December. Each meeting is at a different location; either the in-house or a selected caterer provides catering. Each meeting offers educational opportunities consisting of speakers or panel discussions with themes ranging from weddings to sales techniques. Member companies are listed in the annually published Membership Directory an in the www.acep.com website which are widely distributed and a useful resources.
Targeted Event Professional Advertising
Each member may advertise in the monthly newsletter for a low fee per ad per month, or may choose to prepay for the entire year of advertising at a discounted rate.
